I wanted to confirm my understanding on 1031 exchanges.

Everybody else on here is exchanging great info, you’re literally the only person attacking people and being negative!

Once your properties appreciate and you pay down the mortgages a bit, you can do a 1031 exchange into a larger multifamily property if that's what suits you.Any other questions feel free to ask.

I'm assuming it was list price offer based on the exchange I had.

The other one is if you do a large renovation, rent it out, and sell it in the future and exchange to the funds into something else using 1031x vehicle. 

@Keith Gilbert I think that weighing the pros and cons of the tax exemption now against a possible 1031 exchange later may be helpful.

You can offer to investors, say a 70% equity share in the property in exchange for investing $1M.
