LTR is as close as passive as you're going to get in residential real estate; STR is a hospitality business, so you shouldn't even think of it as real estate (the house is just the vehicle). 

This is especially useful for very busy professionals that would like to find a investment vehicle to park their funds on a passive basis.

So wages may not have not gone up, but the big expensive houses are still being built and bought Vehicles are the same way - I mean my neighbor across the street has a brand new Tahoe and 2500 in the driveway - two 75k+ vehicles.

The foot and vehicle drug traffic is pretty constant and we've had drug related violence. 

I also worry about taxes on electric, right now the Gov. makes the biggest profits on the sale of gas with their taxes but what is their plan when their green dream of all electric vehicles comes true.
