I aquired some properties following him, they all worked out well.I'll say too, that he didn't know what he was worth, it was always an estimate, he had so many activities going on at times you really couldn't nail down the assets, that's what happens when you can drag in a million or more in a day and can't identify an accurate per centage of completion on various projects, with multiple interests flying by.

I don't have a strong opinion on this either way, but if you do calculate your assignment fee as some percentage of profit, you'd better very clearly define "profit" ahead of time.
