I have been looking into tax deed real estate particularly in California; I live in Los Angeles.What has been people's experience with dealing with the dwellers/owners/renters of these tax deed properties?

@Peyton LaBarbera - From my experience doing foreclosure auctions in CT, you need to have a cashier's check for 10% of the "appraised value" which is defined in the foreclosure writeup.  

It sounds like you have a good amount of experience already going for you which is great, it sounds like you could lean on that experience to go out and find some private equity to help you scale.

Hello BP -Has anyone had any experience utilizing Host Financial for financing your STR or LTR properties? 

And I used the small profits to put towards savings for my next project or for maintenance on my house.Based on my experience...I would do the same over again.

I know hands on experience is much more effective than reading about it or listening to it.I'm still not exactly sure what niche I'd like to work in the most. 

From my experience, if your rental is priced correctly, is listed on zillow and you are responsive to inquiries with the ability to show the property hiring a real estate agent is not necessary. 

I have 30+ years of corporate finance experience; FP&A, Supply Chain Finance, new business ventures, tech infrastructure investments, and entertainment.

However, if you slowly adjust pricing in anticipation of a surge in demand you will experience greater returns.
