George Ramsay Rent to Own/Lease Purchase Questions

Nice job Brian.re: Once you have an RMLO lined up to handle the applications and origination and have nailed your terms...market away. Thanks for the kind words, Hattie, and I love your posts btw, but as far as marketing on Craigslist or in print for Owner Financing buyers,  I would caution you not describing the exact terms of any owner financing and have something vague, like"Owner will finance either owner carry or lease to own, there is some qualifying, please contact NAME RMLO # PH#" for an application or link to a 1003 app like thishttps://www.dropbox.com/s/xd2qn5djkf6z15v/Mortgage...To act in the capacity as marketing for a financing arrangement without proper licensing can get you in FEDERAL hot water.

Sam McClellan owner/occupant in duplex - rent to section 8?
19 September 2014 | 20 replies
@Sam McClellan The Pro's... you get your place inspected once a year which keeps you and your tenant on top off things and most if not all of the rent is paid consistently by the government. The Con's... most landlords think they don't need to properly screen Section 8 tenants, for some reason they think the government has already screened them and this is far from correct.Screening is highly, highly important, with or without Section 8... that's the key!
