If this is a good property with good cash flow I would refinance and buy another property.If this isn't cash flowing, the house has issues or in a poor area then consider selling.You want to one day own a bunch of cash flowing properties so that you can live off the income.

@Klodian H.Please note that while there is certainly asset protection for 401k plans at the federal level generally, please note that for individual Solo 401k plans (as opposed to a 401k plan that you might have through a day job) the federal protection outside of bankruptcy does not apply such that one must look to the state level where the creditor protection may not be as robust.

As far as who owns the trust or who is a beneficiary, that's the trustee's fiduciary responsibility to sort out.A living trust is frequently set up to use the trustors ssn rather than an EIN, so I can see someone saying "it's not a legal person" in a poor attempt to explain something to you.

The best I've found under that scenario is 10 yr fixed Term and 25 yr Am, with rates varying 5.5-6.5%afaik the 30 yr fixed is only for residential loans to an individual and it's so the loans can be packaged for securitization.
