Most will just throw them away, but really aggressive groups will drop them off at the nearest police station.

@Chris Munichiello If the rental is located in a prime commuting area close to a train station outside of Boston you should have no issue renting it no matter the time of year.

I can't say it worked yet as I am negotiating pricing with multiple stations.
