The condo was used for several years as a short term rental.  

Obviously I don't have much to offer currently in terms of local knowledge but I love connecting and sharing info and plan to be a valuable and helpful part of the investor community there. 

Some lenders are okay with Foreign National STRs but the rates and terms may not be as attractive. 

I used expeditors for specific projects in NYC, but in Long Island, I hired an architect who's also an expeditor, where I bough a SFH, the previous owner done unpermitted work.

Still have long ways to go.
