Elyse Moore thanks, and yes we are aware of the environment. my son is an engineer for wainwright located in Naperville. the schools are a plus but at the same time he can live in ether market, so before buying a multi-family we are looking at both markets to find the best fit and tenant laws compared to landlord laws.

In general, the regulatory environment is very good for STRs here and the demand still remains strong. 

@Robert Michelen unfortunately in a rising interest rate environment, buying power reduction is the reality as time goes on.

Understand that Minnesota, especially the twin cities, is a much different environment than Utah.
