Through some digging around, Airdna says our Airbnb market averages 47% occupancy rate with $1,250 revenue.I find this hard to believe given the area is 20 minutes or less from the airport, large homes, great neighborhoods, great food nearby. 

thank you @Tyler Gibson  I don't really care how much they made, but during inspection there was some repairs needed which they highlighted and agreed they will get a quote and withhold at the closing table.

My mortgage is $1761/month so not only am I covering that in its entirety but I'm also paying my utilities and my food bill each month while comfortably living for free in a beautiful house in one of the hottest markets around. 

That is just my food for thought, and now my rant is complete....until next time.

Only you and your lender can answer the question as to whether it's a good idea or not, but just some food for thought.

Ryan, I'm a fan of bottlebrush and various types of elephant food\bush.

I will highlight that having a team in rural areas (depending on how rural) can be challenging.
