Rich family members leaving some idiot offspring an inheritance is luck. 

If a tenant wants to low ball then I have no interest.Some really high profile sites it is hard for fast food to work unless a Chick Fil A etc. because of the cost of land.Example if a key price is 1 million an acre then after build out another 400,000 and sells for 1,900,000 minus resale costs it is not worth it.What costs are you trying to pay for the land?

One thing I wish I didn't do starting out is spending thousands for Rich Dad, Poor Dad.

I'm not wealthy or anyway near rich--believe me. 

Baltimore County requires a permit and inspection for each new gas appliance you hookup as opposed to electric where you just plug it in (assuming, again the electric is already in place); no permit or inspection required.Gas in rentals, at least in Baltimore County and maybe in general, just doesn't seem to be worth it.Just some food for thought...

Whole foods?  

I'm not looking to get rich, but like most millennials I'm searching for that financial independence. 

If I were giving advice for here, I'd say look for the one with a Starbucks or equivalent, a health food store and vegetarian restaurant, a boutique selling clothes with weird fashions, and anything artsy.  

The food here is outstanding with over 300 restaurants in the midtown/downtown area alone.

I have no illusions of getting rich quick.
