More tax deductions isn't what I need, so I'm ok not fighting for every last little write-off.  

Have any landlords in the area has any luck fighting these erroneous requests?

This included: not performing the work, having to fight with them over what is acceptable job completion, and overall having to babysit the whole thing.  

Sometimes real estate can feel like a heavyweight fight, the winners are announced after ten rounds of brutal tribulation, and only victorious for a moment at the end.

Very new to real-estate investing and managing of a property, so I am in a fight to learn every day try and keep ahead of things and have had some close calls already over the last two years of owning my first rental.

Your case is going to be a tough one to fight which is probably why no one will take it. 

I still have the same problem of having too many options and I'm fighting analysis paralysis.

All I am saying is there will be opposition.There is always opposition, but this fight will be from high wage earners.
