I was just concerned about people being able to easily access the articals of incorporation through the county probate office and see how the LLC is set up and that I will be the only member.My thinking was that if it is recorded in a different county than where I live and do business, then it would be a little harder for someone to research and see the AOI of the LLC.I do not intend to do any illegal activity or be a part of any shady business practices.

Luckily I am not easily dis-heartened.

You just need a system to keep up with which tenants are behind (you can easily do this in Excel).  

My musical tastes would easily be called "eclectic".

I personally love buying at the beginning of March. 80-90% of investors have a job and are focused on April taxes and given that an accepted offer in March could easily close 30 days later, you're only 1-2 months out on spring/early summer movers.

That said, I was told just now by a CPA that one of her client's uses a registered agent service so that his tenants can't easily look up where he exactly he lives - which is interesting.

The codes are fairly clear and easily interpreted.
