If you put that money into a deal that goes south how will you continue repaying the mortgage AND the HELOC.

So I feel that Flipping/Wholesaling is the direction I want to go, using hard money loans and eventually leading us to purchase a multifamily unit in New York using an FHA loan so that I can live there and continue working in a firm, while living in a property with a positive cashflow.

I am currently looking for my first multi-unit investment home and would like to continue acquiring small multi-units to hold and generate cash flow : )

One of my mentors recommends I continue flipping for cash although cashflow is ultimately my end goal, which has me curious about syndication.

I think I'll hold onto the job I have now and let my stock and 401k grow and continue wholesaling on the side and work my way to a point in my life where I can start making bigger deals that are more profitable!
