Paint, flooring, and appliances?

Mostly Cosmetic (painting, appliances, new carpet) on my end after it has sat for a year or two empty.  

Things like stainless steel appliances, kitchen islands,... stuff like that is almost a prerequisite in certain markets and it's mid-income not just high end where they're expected.  

Built in 2009, apartment units feature kitchens with cherry and maple cabinetry, black GE appliances, a Roman oval soaking tub, oversized walk-in closets and a covered patio or terrace with storage room.

I asked if I was missing something and she said some people like to add some just to cover appliances.  

I haven't totaled the numbers yet, but we probably spent about $4,000 for a mini-split a/c, appliances, mattress, bedding, kitchen stuff, decor, etc.

.- Removal offsite of all demo material and old fixtures, finishes, appliances, garbage etc.- Contractor must protect all adjacent areas to work being performed.

This is on the recommendation of appliance repair people.

I've come across this Liquid Stainless Steel for painting appliances that are suppose to transform the look of older appliances, has anybody heard of this or done it?

Or can we use the loan to get it to FHA standards (do you know FHA no longer requires appliances in the home??)
