@Michelle Verdugo I can't speak for everyone in every state but literally the only information i use on a daily basis that i took from the RE licensing is how many feet are in an acre.

If you can finance a nice side-by-side duplex then that might be a good start to get your feet wet as a landlord. 

@John CoreySo what you’re saying is we should get a contract agreement before purchase or is ok to pursue purchase then get contracts squared away?

Is there a dollar amount per square foot that could be a worst case scenario?

I own a piece of Land in Lehighton PA, 1/4 mile from PA Turnpike and 500 feet from the entry to Beltzville Lake, 1000 feet from State Route 209.  30 years back this land had plans to build a 90,000 SQ ft of Strip Mall but personal life took a huge detour and the project was canned.

I’ve read some from Dave Ramsey and I’ve read some from Kiyosaki and I think I land somewhere in the middle.So, with all that being said; I’m looking to reach out to this community in any way to get my feet wet.
