The vent pipe is cast iron and had scales accumulated, which was causing the clog.

I think it depends on the scale of your business but imo you can do fine with an umbrella policy until you build a large portfolio

I just see the value of scale on the multifamily side so its tough to remain patient as capital accumulates.This is only my second deal so i don't want to pursue a syndication until i have more of a track record.

In it I worked with one of the largest property manager's in Birmingham to grade all of the neighborhoods in the metro area on an A-F scale so investors can assess the level of risk with a particular property.

While a LLC could be sufficient, I did not want to have to transfer properties to a Series LLC later as I scale my business. 

Is there a similar inspection you can pay for (though on a much larger scale) before purchasing the property that can help assure you it's a solid deal that won't require a ton of work?
