hello everyone in the BP community my name is Marcus and im in the upstate Greenville SC area and have been researching real estate investment for the last 5 years and have also put in a few offers I am extremely interested in multi-family Investments and building up my rental portfolio I am an HVAC contractor and would love to help the BiggerPockets community in the upstate area and also learn from the veterans of real estate investing.

I'm interested in investing in a multi-unit property out of state.

We are looking to find a multi-family in the flats to "house hack" to first get into real estate investing. 

Second option, I plan to save as much as I can for one year (on target to save at least 22k by Summer 2019) to have enough down payment for a multi-family home. 

This site is mostly dedicated to single family real estate however, you may be able to find some people in the landlord/ tenant forum that have PM experience for either hotels or multi family properties that could translate to your issues. 

Anyway I have been looking into getting multi family around south phoenix and I’ve been driving a lot seeing a lot too.

Michael, There are folks out there wholesaling multi family deals.

I also would like to acquire my own multi-family properties, as well, in the future. 

I am interested in applying the brrrr strategy with residential multi-family properties and would like to use a HML.

Especially interested in multi-family properties that can generate reliable cash flow.
