Criticism is certainly welcomed, but I'm not sure how those comments give any assistance to the original poster looking for an honest opinion.You'd think someone living on an island would be a bit less cynical.

I'm from Long Island and am considering purchasing a Multi-Family in Irvington.

That movie and the book, The Creature from Jekyll Island (a book about the conception of the fed) had me feeling a bit too cynical for my taste - I'd rather remain an optimist and hire cynics down the road to research this stuff for me :) It is interesting stuff.

The island has in fact been very good to me and my family, but there's nothing else to do now except wait for values to climb more.

Then about 12 years later that original house became the equity for a spec house here on the island and now I'm involved in multiple properties here.Sometimes it just takes a kick in the a**.

My builders rep... ( separate from marketing rep) who handles builder and developers each time came to my Home and I signed the mylars on my Kitchen Island then he hand delivered them to the county for recording..

If you think the answer is "yes", why don't you set up an LLC on the Caymon Islands?
