I renovated most of the interior.

I bought the home knowing that needed a full renovation, I had a contractor come in and fully demo the interior( walls, ceiling, subfloor, etc.)

I graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a Bachelors in Interior Design and am passionate about inspiring people through their built environment.

2 vacation homes, 1 lot, both gutted down to the studs, both have decent roofs, both need siding work, and complete interiors. 

-KITCHEN (cabs, countertop, plumbing, electrical, backsplash, appliances): $25k -BATHROOM (cabs, countertop, plumbing, electrical, floor tile, wall tile, glass): $8k -FLOORING ($7.50/SF installed): $14k-PAINT (interior & exterior): $10k -LIGHTING (cans, ceiling fans, sconces): $3k -NEW PANEL: $4k -NEW SEWER: $10k -NEW ROOF: $15k -LANDSCAPING (rock, turf, plants, irrigation): $15K 

Know how much a roof costs, know what interior paint and flooring costs, Know what a bathroom costs to reno. 

Where I do need a contractor is for structural things, such as moving or replacing with bigger sized windows, moving doors, taking down interior walls. 

If someone's car looks like they trash the interior, it's highly likely they'll trash your unit.* Acts like an entitled a-hole from the start.
