Matt Millard Coming Great Depression?
12 April 2018 | 113 replies
Ive read for many years, different people predicting the next great depression, economic collapse etc. is coming and how people need to buy gold - then conveniently at the bottom of the page would be an ad for a place that I could use my soon to be worthless dollars to buy gold from them ( usually at about 30% above the spot price) Don't get me wrong, I like metals and certain hard assets provided I can buy them at what I see as a value ( which is  usually when the market views them as out of favor) As for real estate, I question the desire to own rental property of any type if you think something "at least as bad as the great depression" is coming.

Alex Silang Why do you want to be superwealthy?
14 June 2018 | 125 replies
It was based on a poll, which is in reality a series of  questions (conveniently not listed) in which the answers are nothing more than the opinions of the people questioned. There's another even more important factor negating this (and I bet any other "poll") as a valid source facts.
Michael Swan How To Identify Bad "D" Or "F" Class Areas
24 July 2018 | 81 replies
there are no Asian ghettos or D or F class :)   Same with small sports bar I have one at the division of our neighborhood from resi to commercial and I own the land right across the st.. the lot which is 20k sq ft I have on the market for 600k... and some one will build a 1.2 to 1.5 mil home on it.. so I don't think the sports bar fits either.but the rest certainly do.. also if the convenience store is bared and bullet proof glass and you can buy single cigarettes..

. ;-)On a more serious note, in answer to your thesis, This article just came out:"Roughly 43 million American households have opted to rent rather than buy their homes because of convenience, cost or both." https://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/311/topics/59...
