How are you making a return on this?

I can offer suggestions based on my experiences.

I'm considering building a portfolio on single/duplex homes in Oregon where my parents can be my managers - and I am up there 6 times a year.

My husband and I started out holding properties in our own name, and later developed an LLC structure (which also moved to a new structure later on).  

As a new agent I would focus on finding new prospects.

Unfortunately he is still incarcerated pending an appeal on his case and I am not the professional real estate investor that he is.

And LP is burned if syndicator hedges and shops multiple groups who are interested and spending money on DD ultimately not get the deal.Reliance on single relationship: again, larger checks mean few LPs for syndicator.

Purchase price: $100,000 Cash invested: $1,000 Sale price: $115,000 My partner and I found this property on Zillow listed much higher than the value.

Considering a duplex as a primary and rent out other unit. How do interest rates play in this scenario? It would be a primary home but will I have to pay higher rates because it’s a duplex?
