Hey I’m 17, living in the US and I’m trying to learn about real estate investing, what are the steps in this business, what’s the best way to go about it and I think a discord would be really helpful for me to understand.

The home is in foreclosure and the judge just granted the note holder a default judgment .

Outside of real estate, I'm an entrepreneur and 3D Landscape Design or Outdoor Living Luxury Expert. 

I wanted to introduce myself as I am incredibly anxious to step foot into the incredible world of REI and would love to know if there are any local investors that meet/would like to meet on a semi-regular basis.I currently have a full time job in outside sales in the Arvada area so I do a lot of driving around which enables me to spend a lot of my time listening to podcasts and educating myself but I would love to get to know some players within my local area to really dive deep into the subject and in which I could potentially be of value in the future.

I have done everything the right way, the ethical way, treating people with honesty and respect.. treating the market and the process with respect (not cutting any corners, permits, etc) and it seems like I have been beaten down at every turn and now I am at risk of losing everything I have worked hard for years to obtain. 

I noticed a lot of posts in the facebook groups I am part of both on BiggerPockets and other real estate investing groups in the last few weeks.

The listing is currently visible as ready to be in service, and I've already received three bookings.My question is, will I still qualify for the short-term rental tax benefits or loopholes if I have blocked off dates until September 19th due to these repairs?

I have a 3 BDR one bath  house in Maple Heights Ohio that I am considering renting to section 8 tenant .CMHA chart for the house zip code showing a max rent of around $2000 for 3 bedroom.I know market rent of my house is approximately 1300-1400 $I am adding efrigerator and oven.The house is older but in decent shape.
