I wouldn't disagree that it can be overwhelming to the point of throwing your hands up like eh how much effort is this really saving me.

Good read, but I do disagree somewhat with looking at AirBNB and VRBO current rates to help get an estimate of what you should charge.I do think it can be market dependent, but the way you put it, you are assuming that everyone is just scattershot choosing their rates.
