Problem solved!

Usually a 5 minute discussion during the interview process and that solves a lot of my problems. 

I would need your expertise regarding LA's market; I would love to start investing (actually buying properties) as soon as i will have the resources; but the prices here are so high, which neighborhood would you first invest in?

In an attempt to always be evolving I have been thinking of how I can use my short sale expertise to swallow up short sale listing contracts and assign them to the agents of my choice.  

But as for real estate I've been marking for about 2 months now and don't have a contract yet but many leads, I'm also learning that you can't focus solely on one niche strategy I have to know multiples strategies in order to take advantage of every lead and do my best to solve everyone problem.

Tell them how you can solve thier problem.

Focus on helping them and solving their problem,not getting a deal done.

Our job, should be to counter, flank and "shed light" on deception... whilst helping solve people's housing, etc.

It's not my area of expertise.  

I'd say too that gurus, mentors or coaches take an "instructional" view of "let me tell you how this is done" not "how can this best be done" requiring a student to utilize certain principles within a set of rules and then apply that to problem solving.....that's teaching.Before you can get to the thought provoking aspects of learning, there is the foundation that must be understood, that goes to anything in technical and professional fields of business.
