I'm not a newbie to buying at the local sheriff's auctions here in Milwaukee, I've bought probably 15 houses at our sheriff's auction and I know the ropes pretty well but its been a while since I've dealt with this particular issue and need some advice.

This happened to a fellow investor in Tampa several years ago.We talked about it & we told him to approach the Bank & offer to stay put, rent free paying the utilities etc to keep the home in good condition for re-sale.Given the all break-ins etc that were occurring with vacant homes they agreed.We have done that here in NY with properties we have taken back or taken possession of from auctions.
