HOA is $175 per month.This property is in a great location... located in a large urban park in a historic neighborhood currently undergoing serious gentrification (hundreds of millions in multiple residential/commercial  developments all over the neighborhood, both city and private money).

I'm curious as to the contracts with the city, in terms of length and the likelihood of the city pulling out of the program (assuming everything with the agreements is in compliance and maintained).  

I see the value of the homes you posted here are very modest  (esp compared to Charles Village) and I'd be interested in understanding what other strong rental areas exist outside the well known neighborhoods in the City.

We closed on 2nd, and the $800 from the city of Galveston for the tenant that is on housing assistance had been deposited to the seller.

Crime websites say it's a somewhat higher crime city, but it's nothing we've directly experienced, just part of living with other people, and we feel quite safe there.My question is about some of the neighborhoods in our area.

We are really excited our 1st investment property, a vacation rental in Ocean City, Maryland, is going so well this year we will have a chunk of change to put into a second investment property this fall/winter!

We want to go for another real-estate investment (we are doing buy and hold..buy low, renovate and make them short term rentals on airbnb in Ocean City, Maryland).
