Matt, honestly speaking, I have never heard of a bank calling a loan due unless the borrower did something to trigger it, ie default on a payment etc so that was never really a concern for me.

I've been using Frank Maxfield for several years now.I've seen him bring rental carpet back from the dead and make my personal home carpet sparkle.He uses a semi-dry approach with a buffer.

Nothing against "flippers", but that's pure speculation for the average "Joe" to think they'll buy at one price and make $20k or so on a quick sale, alls fine and dandy till the music stops playing and your stuck with that "investment" sucking your bank account dry with holding costs.

@Michael ChowWe have 4 rentals purchased under our names in Ontario and have been advised that transferring ownership to a corporation will be considered a sale and will trigger land transfer tax, which for us is a $12k hit right away.
