To market I have done everything in the book (social media, signs, rei meetings etc).

One thing I've noticed in several metropolitan areas is that once a neighborhood is sufficiently sketchy, the stores will stop being well-known national or regional brands, and become things you've never heard of. 

my stores is to long and sounds unreal. 

I know the corner variety store owner doesn't care much if a candy bar or a chocolate bar sells more but I'm sure they will replace the product just as fast and repeat the process.

I think when we were all buying up those properties, we weren't quite aware of what we had in store for us.
