The people along with other qualified professionals, ie....attorneys, CPA's ect...can be of great assistance--and often time help you avoid pitfalls and stay out of trouble.

We have good relations with local solicitors to assist overseas purchasers & if we do not have the answer we direct our clients to the right person.

Otherwise seeking the help of a real estate agent might not be the worst of things.Just make sure you are clear what you are getting in return for your commission.

It doesn't have the statistical data you are seeking: What people paid for the house last sale, what prices are going for per sq. ft., etc.2 choices: Find another agent that isn't the idiot you dislike, or you wouldn't care it's with an agent.or:Get licensed, hang your license somewhere, and get access to the MLS yourself.Unfortunately, the real estate laws are what they are in each state.
