I currently live in New York but I am currently exploring the options of investing in a small multifamily property.

Unfortunately the placement of a water heater in close proximity to the water and vent hook ups is preventing the tenant from fitting a washer and dryer unit set up in the cabinet space provided (side by side and stacked config not possible).

Although the suburbs may see a small but steady amount of positive equity growth, there is nothing hot and exciting happening in the suburbs to yield any high returns.

If she puts up a fuss about where she will live, tell her she can shack up with one of her drunk friends.If she doesn't want to leave, then hit her with a formal notice of termination and start that process.

We have a great team put together in Greenville SC where we all live and this provides a great competitive advantage to us. 

@Charanjit Singh I live in the area again and I am familiar with some of the locations and properties.   

I live in Northern NJ and as I mentioned the barrier of entry for me in NJ is too high.

I live in Texas and have one primary residence and eligible to get another property in June (1 year mark).

If you notice my posting history I am investigating purchasing my first condo in the next few months and am investigating some potential scenarios.I am looking into living in the unit for a little over 1 year and putting it up for rent either with HCV/Section 8 or finding a tenant through my brokerage(L&F) or other means. 

We live in San Jose and would like to ideally start our first project that is closer to us.
