Prior to him coming out I had another company trying to rip me off and charge me $350 dollars to repair something that was not broken.I called this guy and told him what I was being told needed to be repaired and he came out and said everything was fine.

As this is a very small house, there is no cracking on the walls or ceiling to indicate this issue inside, nor is the floor badly sloped so you can tell without using a level (the rooms are small), and now I wish I had crawled on my belly into the very low crawl space prior to making the offer or at least brought a tennis ball to see how it rolls.

From his podcast I gathered the following:Two years experience in RE and lending.Took a 23 hour course and obtained his license to originate.No prior finance or banking knowledge.He is not a loan underwriter in the conventional sense with loan authority.No experience in financial compliance.No legal background in any formal setting, ie, court, legal interpretations.No formal education in lending or finance, no college class and no degree.None of this makes Grant a bad guy, he's just new and IMO very entrepreneurial (a good thing).
