You can check with the city building department by calling them or going online and ask them if the property has any open permits or violations.

Lots of unanswered questions at this point that I will be finding out in the days to come but I'm curious, generally speaking what's everyone's take on owning individual apartments within a larger complex?

Typically, they would either:plan to manage it themselves (i.e. new home but same city) and create a lease, post a rental sign, post it online, etc., orcontact a property manager (or property management company) to take it overOnly owners that want to get burnt will call their buy/sell agent.

Individually, they are small low yielding accounts but liquidated and reinvested they could, potentially provide a higher return.

With Smartmove the tenant needs to do another online application, and I'm already having them fill a paper application out, which seems like to much to a lot of tire kickers.
