So, I've been in this landlord game quite some time now, and my second largest business expense is mildew abatement.Let me explain.Most of my properties are in Monterey County, where we get a lot of humidity.  

I am determined to put in more time into my game to be able to leave behind the rat race.

I'm located in an area where large multi family units are common, I'm VERY interested in skipping the SFH game and get right into investing in commercial apartment complexes. 

I've been in the REI game for a few months now here in the Austin market and to see how fast properties move hands is quite mind-boggling.

My family's been in this game quite a while and have thus seen disgustingly ugly financial crises.

@Susan Grayson, REI is a fantastic vehicle to financial freedom, but new investors should understand the game a little more before tackling complicated projects.I wish you do well in REI, and learn as much as you can from small-simple properties before placing a large sum of money on bigger projects.Best wishes
