I did the survey and also trust that the great people at bigger pockets will do the right research to not get away from helping others create financial freedom by adding unnecessary info.

Plus, our government always passes laws after the horse has left the barn.Hate the loss of freedoms. 

I felt like I would never grasp the freedom I wanted in life.

Doing a BRRR in Northern CA is a long shot...... you have to have a great network to find those deal and a ton of time and $$ to do all the rehab yourselfYoung, single with a steady job, you have the freedom to do some stuff you wont want to do once you are married, kids etc..... like living in a smaller duplex/triplex with close neighbors, no yard or having actual roommates etc.

.- Buy a piece of land to care for and to create my dream cabin in the woods- Learn from a mentor (through reciprocity of course, giving where I can), be a lifelong student and teacher, and ultimately mentor others who are seeking financial freedom through real estate.I have a LOT of entrepreneurial juice at the moment, like busting at the seems.  

REI goals:My longer term goal is to house hack a 4-plex, expand my portfolio over time, and eventually (within 10-15 years) bring in enough cash flow to have the option to retire from my IT career early, focus on my properties, and enjoy financial freedom.
