As far as their insistence on how I got their number being tied to whether they may actually want to or be looking to sell, I slightly disagree because I have closed deals with those sellers more often than not actually.

I disagree with everyone who has answered in this thread so far.Every state Im aware of requires a landlord to maintain smoke detectors.A quick glance at Wisconsin law shows the landlord is required to place a smoke detector in the unit, and fix any issue with it withij 5 days of being notified it is not working.
