I have watched people empty pickups even a trailer load Some smaller businesses even do it I know a landlord who tells his guy to swing by an apartment or store to dump the old mattresses and trash or building materials (and He has his own dumpsters but likes to keep them empty ) I said something to him about it.but he thinks its ok.

Although my parents make it more hands on than what is needed by having the stores fully attended, I love that particular industry because I grew up with it.

You can get a decent 4 peice stainless package for around $2200Random things- Outlets, GFCI outlets, covers, etc just tally how many then go to the store.

If it's a rental you may want to consider an alternative to hardwood such as tongue and groove laminate or vinyl.Head to one of the big box stores and let them know your situation.

I floored my first rental in laminate flooring from front to back, excluding the bathroom...It was a learning project for me and because of that project, I also learned that laminate flooring has its issues, especially the kind you get on sale from a big box store.

I would however tell them the previous tenant used the oven frequently so it is unlikely the candle was left behind and they need to be careful in storing flammable items.
