Was the path of going into the airforce a decision pushed on you or were you heading that way for yourself?

@Randall Alan I completely agree that once you invest in a syndication as a passive investor you give up control of the decision making for that investment.

I know they look at your full financial situation but but do they base any part of the loan or decision on our current income?

In order to make good decisions, you really need to understand the terrain. 

Primary residences are so personal that they are sometimes tough to form an investment decision on.

@Anders Nordberg have you made any decisions since your post? 

I think the decision depends on the revenue  and appreciation potential of the property vs. a comparable property local to you.

Make sure you provide ALL the information to potential buyers so that they can make the decision of purchasing the property that much easier.Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?

My main concern is making a decision now that will limit my investment opportunities later down the line.
