This is worth learning how to do, even though I must admit I usually just used the name search...and no surprises yet.Also, not as prevalent now as years ago, but if the current owner acquired by QCD, check the previous owner’s name also....we used to see a lot of sub2’s with hanging mtgs/liens from the previous owner.And of course, there can be hoa or code violation debts which remain without a recorded lien.I still miss/liked the live auctions better.

As far what is hanging me up - my dang website! 

. - The biggest hang up people have on the BRRRR method is that banks will typically only finance 75-80% LTV (loan to value).

Hanging out with my mentor at auctions and meet ups I have seen first hand newbies make unbelievably costly investment mistakes.

I just moved out of the area but I know there are plenty of investors that hang out at the coastal REIA.

In some areas of the siding - we can see the old siding that was there, in a place or two some pieces are hanging loose, the soffits are coming out, window trims look like it was done by a 10 yr old - all very legitimate issues to us.

I recently passed my exam and am deciding where to hang my license.

So it is just hanging out there in limbo.
