Which option is better to build a new one or buy an existing one?

Lone Star has been buying up tons of delinquent mortgages and distressed properties all over the country.

I’d buy it today because for me the finish line isn’t a year from now, the finish line is 7 years from now, 10 years from now.And once the market heats up, buyers come out of the woodwork and you might miss that good property is hopes of being the one to snag it at a perfectly timed market bottom.Just my approach…..

Buy a new primary residence with low down.

Even if that is a possibility, I would continue looking for coverage for two reasons:1. the Mortgage company generally only buys what is needed to coverage their interest in the property (not your equity you've built up)2.

As of this moment, my goal is to buy long term, buy and hold properties, preferably SFH's or small MFM's.
