Maybe put a pick-nick table back there to re-enforce the idea, along with a Craig's list used charcoal grill.I'd also have the fence shot with a redwood stain to freshen it up.I'd pick pavers that match the house and the class of the neighborhood.

I could see what other people could not which is why the deal was still on the table after going through the auction multiple times.
