In hindsight, I wish I had done more diligent screening of the current tenants and the situation beforehand, or otherwise negotiated the deal as the seller emptying the units ahead of time.

Yes, the home owner is angry and has to remove the signs and make a point to whom ever did it to them. the point is, go ahead and put bandit signs on my yard, and I will take them. but, if the person, still does not learn then the home owner will report it to the city and the will fine the person doing the crime.
