So while they didn't say it directly (no surprise there) I agree with my surveyor that the concept and law supporting adverse possession no longer exist in NY.

Even with a high quality property in the lower ranges, it will likely be a smaller and/or less convenient location so people will move more.One significant exception could be a situation where charging below market rent leads to stability of tenants - where you really aren't doing a whole lot more than your typical high-end property.

I usually tell them "I understand if you want to be home and I might would be the same way so if both of our schedules align we would be glad to do that otherwise we would need to enter the unit at a convenient time for us to complete the work."

I work at a hotel and I learn about what people make in various departmentsHousekeepers get around 11 bucks an hour to start and max out at 14 an hourFront desk people are in this same range around 12 dollars an hourThe maintenance department surprisingly only gets 14 dollars an hour, these are people that need a lot of skills and knowledge in all the trades.Dishwashers 11 an hourI personally work as a banquet set up person.
