We live in such a litigious society that I would think any landlord with this TERRIBLE idea would think twice before actually propositioning a tenant like a prostitute.

If not, I highly encourage you to do so.

If somebody is currently unemployed, I would encourage them to stay wherever they are.

Hello Jonathan, I agree with everyone else, price is generally the issue, but I would also encourage you to research all the homes sold within the area for the number of days your homes been on the market (expand your radius by at least 10-15 miles) so that you have a firm understanding of the types of homes sold in comparison to your home.

@Benjamin Branson I would be careful in one area, you don't want to encourage the current owner to go out and sign new long term leases.
