I am an accountant for a non-profit, and hopefully real estate can fund my masters degree so I can sit for my CPA. 

This has been brought up to the HOA's attention but they just sit on it like other issues.

So the competition here is quite excruciatingly painful to swallow, and not even factoring in the commute and the bubble over price rent.So back to the story, after 2years of saving my money i was able to begin my process in fixing the home I bought which was sitting there not doing anything for 2years (I was scared to rent it out to people I didn’t know, and felt it was not livable condition).

In the neighborhood I live in, there is a house that has been sitting vacant about 4.5 years.

The two things that have kept me from pulling the trigger is possible rent deflation after the constrution workers leave and liquidity, multifamily in Prineville seems to sit on the market for a while.

I was in a very similar situation recently when the PM let the property sit for three weeks and repeatedly promised to send me a list of repairs needed, but didn't.

Looks to have been a homeowner project gone horribly wrong; the slab sits approximately 6" above the ground and is very rough/uneven.

Many have been sitting vacant for months and all it takes is a 25 cent rubber seal to crack and it will fail a pressure testAnother potential issue.... are you getting a loan ?
