It takes a couple weeks to get, which may hurt for a rental, but these all had 36" uppers (not 30" that most quote/use), light rails, crown, islands, soft close doors and drawers, etc.

Our realtor took us over the bridge to Okaloosa Island (in the city of FWB) and bingo!

For houses, ohanas and other properties that are zoned residential, each island is a little different.  

I am currently located on long island and as many of you can imagine.. the market here for real estate is horribleBut anything at all you throw my way would be extremely helpful, even if you say dream on kid..

@Rusty Thompson I know this sounds weird but we really miss the rain (we live on the dry side of the island, so we have maybe 5 rainy days/year). 150 rainy days is a lot though and might make us SAD ;) Thanks for your input also on ARVs - really appreciate it!

For my first forum post I had a few questions about financing/finding my FIRST primary residence.The main things I was trying to figure out were the best ways to do it as a first time home owner, what to look/look out for and what type of programs/loans are out there for me.I am looking for a 3 family house specifically in the Long Island area of New York City as the prices are lower but we still have access to the city.
