I also started investigating Charlotte and would love to see your details.I agree with staying out of SC until the inventory is so low that it raises the rental prices because of the higher taxes on non occupied homes.

In regards to you dilemma, i would need to see your tax returns, banks do not use 1099 income to qualify, also, what is the type of the business listed on your returns, it might pass the radar without investigating.

Just make sure you do what you say you will in that you pay in a timely fashion so they have no reason to look back at the file and investigate.

We are looking at few properties in Raytown near Kansas city and upon investigation found that it has lots of crime and upside for appreciation is quite limited ?

This is not typical for an agent to investigate and disclose.
