Forgive my ignorance but what is the difference between premises liability and personal injury?

We all were ignorant at one time or another.

concerning landlording niche ,I can’t think of any thing more socially controversial than the concept of leveraging the financial ignorance of low income areas to your financial benefit through low income housing .. aka slumlording

Or does the IRS forget about that "off books" asset and the $2,000 sale of the fully expensed carpet gets ignored?

In spite of all my ignorance, I got some good renters (stayed 4 years) and I learned to do most of the repairs myself.

Meanwhile, the PAID tenant advocates are riling up the voter base and thus the legislators with their biased messaging and agenda.People are leaving NYS in droves, so if you think that's a myth, you are either reading the governor's propaganda or just ignorant.

To *my* understanding the difference is this; Lets say his properties are worth 2M and paid for with 1M of depreciation and he paid 1M.1) If he held them and he died and they went to his kids (this is ignoring if he has a spouse right now) they would get their tax basis 'stepped up' to the value at the time of his death, or 2M.
