It's great to hang out with like-minded people and people who have been in your shoes at one point of their life.

Clearly most wholesalers do not have the ability to close so if they cant find a buyer, they leave the seller hanging which is in part what has most of us up in arms.

A good contractor is hard to come by, but if you find one, they are a treasure worth hanging onto. 

I definitely agree that hanging your license with a well-established brokerage has many benefits, especially for a new agent like myself that is still gaining traction and building up my book of business.

Now I’m not saying don’t go into real estate also, but take the low hanging fruit of employer matching contributions and then start working on real estate... there’s even books on how to do it with low or no money down by @Brandon Turner so it isn’t like contributing to your 401k is going to not allow you to do real estate.
