I understand buying a property via tax sale or OTC tax deeds wipe out majority of liens if there are any against property.

Renting out the house doesn't sound like it will make money or break even every month, once you account for vacancies, maintenance, increases in tax/insurance, and turnover costs... unless I'm wrong there? 

A real estate developer rented out my family’s backyard and put up scaffolding to build a building complex in Queens, New York.The developer and my family signed a contract allowing them to use the backyard.

I have to find out with inspector(s) anything else but I was told there is no deferred maintenance and 6 of the 8 units have been remodeled.

It would be about a 12 month hold.  170-180kI am assuming nobody does this, but thought I'd put it out there.  

It looks convenient where I can fill out form online to complete the application.
